Dear CETAF Representatives,

Follow our last email dated 23rd of July, by which we call for an exceptional General Assembly of CETAF (CETAF49-bis) to approve the revised CETAF Statutes, we are hereby sending you the set of documents for your consideration.

Please click here to find the folder named “Repository for members” where you will find:

  • Proposed Revised Statutes (in English-EN, and in French-FR), to approve!
  • Supporting docs: Original Statutes (2008); Current Statutes and Bylaws (2018); CETAF49 Minutes and Executive Report

As you know, the revised Statutes intend to accommodate the text of our approved articles to the new Belgian Legislation for AISBLs. The spirit remains exactly the same and the content that our CETAF General Assembly approved has been kept, though there have been some changes due to the restructuring (in sections and articles) that we introduced as to be fully compliant with the new regulations. We have been working hard over the last months with a Belgian Notary, Mr Bernard DEWITTE in Brussel, to draw this final version that now is submitted to you for your consideration and approval.

To approve the proposed revised version, please send us back your explicit confirmation via email to this General Secretariat by the 18th of October 2021, eob, the latest

Once approved by the CETAF members, the revised Statutes will be presented at the exceptional General Assembly that will be held on Monday, the 25th of October, at 10h00 in Brussels, Belgium.

The deliberations at that CETAF 49-bis meeting will focus on the following:

  • Approval of final revised CETAF Statutes
  • Appointment of Mrs. Ana Casino  as agent to request the Notary to proceed with the establishment of the authentic deed confirming the modification of the articles of the association. This latter is a requirement to obtain the final official approval in front of the Notary without the physical presence of you all at the planned General Assembly here in Brussels.

Looking forward to receiving your approval to the proposed version of the CETAF Statutes!.

Best Regards,
