Dear all,

This is very, very sad news. Marian was involved in CETAF from the beginning, maybe even from before the official beginning, and she succeeded me as chair in 2003. Beside her scientific work at the Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales, including leading the huge Fauna Iberica project, she devoted a lot of effort to CETAF and CETAF-derived projects like BIOD-IBERIA, SYNTHESYS, EDIT and ENBI.

She will indeed be missed.
