A piece of information that surely is of your interest.
CETAF participated in the GTI Forum 2020 with a presentation by Michelle Price “The Consortium of European Taxonomic Facilities (CETAF): a collaborative network for collections and taxonomy”.
Several other CETAF members were also participants and contributors from different instances, as it was the case of Christoph Häuser, MfN Berlin, Thomas Borsch, BGBM of Berlin (“World Flora Online, building a taxonomic resource in global partnership”) and Hugo de Boer, NHM University of Oslo (“Training a new generation of biosystematists to meet society’s needs for biodiversity expertise”).
Wishing you a nice reading!

Subject: Launch of the CBD Technical Series No. 96 The Global Taxonomy Initiative
Dear colleague, Dear GTI community member,
We are pleased to inform you that the CBD Technical Series No. 96 The Global Taxonomy Initiative in support of the post-2020 Global biodiversity framework has now been published online, building on the outcomes of the Global Taxonomy Initiative (GTI) Forum 2020 held virtually from 2 to 4 December 2020. We very much hope that this report will further encourage the deepening, application and broad sharing of accumulated knowledge in scientific and taxonomic institutions across all sectors.
We would also be grateful if you could kindly share the document with relevant stakeholders and within your networks. The CBD Secretariat remains available for any further details and reiterates its warmest thanks for your contributions and commitment to GTI.
We very much look forward to our continued collaboration.
