We would like to invite you to the workshop "Micro-changes" to be held online next July 8th from 10:00 - 13:00h (CEST).
The workshop is jointly organized by the CETAF Information Science & Technology Commission (ISTC) and the DiSSCo CSO-DT. It is open for the Institutional Moderators (IMs) of DiSSCo partner institutions, for CETAF ISTC and Collection group members and we would like to extend it to all technical specialists of our community to provide their expertise and support.
The meeting is intended to be the first of a series that aims to provide a better understanding of which are the early “micro-changes” (i.e. technical basic steps) that all DiSSCo partner institutions need to undertake to ensure alignment with DiSSCo e-services and a basic level of interoperability with the RI, as it s envisaged, and that specifically will tackle:
- Process to get an institutional identifier
- Harmonization of institution and collection identifiers in GBIF
- Identification of datasets already in GBIF and GeoCase
The “Micro-changes” workshop is open for the Institutional Moderators (IMs) of DiSSCo partner institutions, and also for CETAF ISTC and Collection group members to provide their expertise and support.
