We have the pleasure to announce the first Training School (TS)
of our active COST Action MOBILISE, organized under WG6 “EDUCATION & TRAINING, DISSEMINATION & OUTREACH”
Digitisation and Data Management Challenges in Small Collections
14-15 March 2019, Sofia, BG
No registration fees, trainees will receive a fixed COST grant for their travel and accommodation
The training school will focus on the digitisation and management of biological and geological collections and the development of digitisation strategies and plans. Specific topics that will be addressed during the trainings through
practical exercises are – among others – data quality, data cleaning, and the origins of data.
The training school is addressed to everyone who is engaged in biological and geological collections and their data. This includes professionals (curators, technicians, collection managers etc.) as well as scientists in all stages
of their career, especially early career investigators and students (post-grad, MSc, PhD).
