Dear ESG members,

I am pleased to let you know that Olle Hints (Tallinn University of
Technology, Estonia) and Mike Howe (British Geological Survey, UK) are
appointed as the Acting Chairs of the Earth Science Working Group.

I would like to sincerely thank both Olle and Mike for volunteering to
take on this role. Their extensive experience, knowledge, and
complementary expertise will provide excellent leadership for the
Working Group during this transition period. I wish them every success
and I am confident the Earth Science Working Group is in very capable
hands.
