Dear all,

I am glad to see that currently all CETAF Working Groups are to submit a proposal for a workshop/symposium/event under Biodiversity_next. A big challenge buy equally a big success for our community, that exemplifies the shared goal of keeping working closely together and developing collaborative initiatives.

I am glad and fully supportive of the ESG' idea to highlight the importance of earth sciences collections in biodiversity research, this also understood as comprising both geo- and bio-diversity.
