Thank you to those who attended last Friday’s meeting. [Minutes].
Main Points:
- We discussed co-creating a publication on enhancing Earth Science data quality, focusing on case studies of specimens.
- The publication aims to:
- Identify key data to associate with specimens.
- Explore data vocabularies to improve discoverability and research utility.
- We used Mentimeter for initial ideas; the link is in the minutes. If you missed it, you can still contribute.
Next Steps:
I will soon send further instructions on the plan for the publication and share a spreadsheet where you can suggest specimens for case studies.
Next Meeting:
- Scheduled for January: Sophie Verheyden (RBINS) will lead a discussion on ethical/responsible mineral sales in museums.
- Sophie is available on one day only, so please indicate your availability via
