Hi 

Short note to say that Earth Sciences and paleontology was in the MIDS presentation as part of it and still to improve while challenging. 

At breakfast discussed with French paleontologists. She said that there may be more that we can deduce from the titles of the presentations and may need to check abstract content to be complete.

Yes it is definitely a pity. Thank you for your support again and sharing the news about the launch of Pensofts new journal. I am interested to know if there are any Earth Science related talks at TDWG and who the speakers are. A pity for networking and always nicer on site but happy to see that our presentation after all especially your efforts will be on. 

 

Take care and hello from Japan. On another note discussed with Lyubo from Pensoft he is looking particularly for Earth Sciences curators and collection managers for the new collections and museomics journal that will be officially launched during the TDWG-SPNHC conference. 

 

So if anyone interested let him know. They introduced the ideas  in May at Cetaf Oslo and now it is ready.

 

It is not about taxonomy but on methods and research linked to natural history collections.
