The portal very looks nice, it is useful in many respects, and the number of entries already available is impressing.

We have detected a few shortcomings so far:

It seems as in searches it cannot handle letters with diacritical marks (like å, ä, ö, for example).

There is no possibility to search for mineral classifications (taxon) at a higher level, e.g., groups and supergroups. For example "amphibole" or "garnet".

There seems to be no background information to the specimens, for example, chemical, spectroscopic or structural data that supports the identification (or even just an indication by which method it was identified).
