Hi Olle,

I would be happy to offer the NHMW-Geo data as external source for testing – I am not sure, however, what information you need to do that.

All the best

Andreas

Dear Laura and colleagues,

A Happy New Year!

There has been some progress in Tallinn so that we have our BioCASe provider software upgraded to the newest version and the local GeoCASe infrastructure is set up and can harvest our own data sources. It would now be nice to add some external sources for testing as well. Perhaps from Stuttgart -- can you provide me your accesspoint URL? And if anyone is interested to harvest Estonian data, this link should be useful: https://bc.geocollections.info/pywrapper.cgi?dsa=geocase-git

More work is needed to implement indexing and fast search and new basic UI. I am not sure if I can show something functional by the time of the meeting as our developer has some other urgent things in progress, but let's see. I will be abroad and offline from Jan 17th to 25th. Meeting on 27th would be OK for me, but I might be little late then too do to a lecture.

Cheers,

Olle

Dear colleagues,

Happy new year! I said the after the Christmas holidays that it would be a good idea have another GeoCASe progress meeting. For January could you please indicate if you are available for the 2  suggested dates (CET time zone) in January via the doodle poll below. Please fill in by Friday (10th January).
